10 Vehicles Involved In Texarkana Crash

According to Arkansas State Police, three people were killed and at least seven were injured in separate, chain-reaction crashes on Interstate 49, about 160 miles southwest of LIttle Rock.
Police say the collision happened at about 11:45 p.m. Monday after a southbound tractor-trailer was rear-ended. Ten vehicles were involved in the southbound wreck.
At the same time, three tractor-trailers in the northbound lanes collided directly across from the southbound crash scene. One of the semi-trucks was carrying glue that spilled out onto the highway.
Interstate 49 was closed until the following morning to clear the wreckage.
Police state troopers are investigating whether fog may have contributed to the crashes.
