An accident involving multiple vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, caused the shutdown of eastbound lanes of Lambert International Boulevard overnight.
The accident occurred around midnight, and caused the eastbound lanes toward Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport to be closed for more than seven hours.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time and no injuries during the accident were reported. The number of vehicles involved in the accident has not yet been released.
Lambert International Airport announced on Twitter that the accident had been cleared around 7:15 a.m.
