Posted on

A mother was killed and five others were injured in a single-vehicle car accident near Lonedell, Missouri on Saturday.
The accident happened at about 3:00 near Highway 30 and Highway N. Twenty-nine-year-old Brandy King of St. Clair was killed, and her four children were injured.
Two of the children, 11-year-old Jaden King and 8-year-old John King, were flown to local hospitals in serious condition. The two other children, Joseph King (6) and Joselyn King (4) were both transported via ambulance for minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, 69-year-old Barbara Nordan of Gray Summit was also injured, and taken to a local hospital.
The two children who were listed in critical condition were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, nor were the two adults.
Investigators are still determining what caused the SUV to leave the road. It is clear however that the car went airborne, rolled, and slammed into several trees.
