St. Charles, Missouri – A bus accident in St. Charles injured several Hardin Middle School Students on their way to school Wednesday morning.
According to St. Charles School District officials, Hardin Middle School’s Bus 27 was involved in the accident just before 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of Ehlmann Road and Sylvan Lane.
A recent update from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch said that the crash involved a trash truck, which sideswiped the bus. Some of the students on board were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. It was unclear how many students were injured, or how badly they were hurt.
District families were notified of the crash this morning. The non-injured students were brought to school with a different bus.
No other bus routes were impacted by the crash.
