St. Louis, Missouri – One person is dead after a car accident involving a 15-year-old driver.
Accident reconstruction was requested to investigate a fatal car collision in south St. Louis, which left one person dead and another critically injured.
Police said the accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. Monday when a 15-year-old driver crashed the car he was driving into another vehicle along Ohio Avenue and Winnebago.
After the two-vehicle crash, one car struck a fire hydrant and a building.
Authorities said one passenger traveling with the 15-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, while another passenger inside the car was transported to an area hospital in critical, unstable condition.
Both drivers sustained injuries but are listed in stable condition, according to police.
